Our Lord, who art in Heaven and throughout the Universe,
Hallowed be Thy name, now and forever.
May Thy kingdom come to us quickly, here on Earth,
Where we still so desperately need Thy mercy to understand all that happens to us and all that is difficult to bear—
As in Heaven,
Our true home, where so many of our brothers and sisters still wander in the shadows of suffering, despair, pain, horror, and confusion—souls in need of rescue and renewal.
May Thy will be ours as well.
Give us this day, and always, our daily bread, Lord!
Let there never be a lack of food upon our tables, and look kindly upon those who have none—scattered across this world.
May some generous soul nearby, Lord, reach out to them, so they do not perish from hunger.
And forgive us our debts and our daily offenses, for we are still so imperfect and slow to learn from Your law of love,
Just as we are learning to forgive
Those who hate us, who wish us harm, who have wronged us.
For they too are souls in evolution—students on the path—perhaps lost or simply unaware of You.
And lead us not into temptation!
Lord, may all the light and all the knowledge we have already received—thanks to the Promised Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, and our beloved Allan Kardec—be the strength we need to keep walking toward You: studying more, learning more, setting better examples, praying more, and serving more.
And deliver us, Lord, from all evil,
From all darkness that might try to hinder our journey toward You.
Infinite gratitude,
Our Father in Heaven!
