Dear being... our little younger brother.
We are bathed in much sadness, for we had to say goodbye to you.
Take with you, little brother, the certainty that we will keep in our hearts all the love that we shared together, while you still were among us.
So many joys that you provided us and that were countless...
Your numerous escapes through the neighborhood, when all already knew of your recurrence in running away, however they hurried in bringing you back. The many licks that you did not tire of offering us whenever we caressed you.
The times in which we sat at the table to eat and you came, stealthily to our feet, to grab a little piece of meat that we always let fall, purposely.
And even the bites of love that, some times, you did not contain yourself in “offering” us...
All these memories and so many others more will not be erased from our memory, for you will always be among us.
But now you must follow the journey... now you go to another dimension.
And the Spirits of the Lord in charge from now on of your guard will be for you what we were during your 16 years of existence: your dear caretakers that will know to give you the love that you need to follow your destiny and be happy as immortal being that you are.
Be sure that we will never forget you, but life needs to follow its course...
You now live on the other side of the stars, for death is only a passage, a transfer of address.
Whenever we remember you it will be with joy in the heart, for we know that our sadness and our despair for not having you anymore among us reach you and can, therefore, prevent your evolutionary advancement.
And know that the light of That One who created everything will not be lacking to you. You will be, from now on, among dear friends that will help you in your process of adaptation to this new home to which you were led.
We thank you for the joys that you provided us during all these years that we enjoyed at your side and we say to you, then, with sorrow in our hearts: “Dear little brother, move forward... go peacefully... you will always be remembered”.
