Dear being... our little brother,
We are bathed in much sadness, for we had to say goodbye to you.
Carry with you, little brother, the certainty that we will keep in our hearts all the love that we shared while you were still among us.
So many joys you provided us, and they were countless...
Your numerous escapes through the neighborhood, when all already knew of your recurrence in escaping, but hurried to bring you back. The many licks that you did not tire of offering us whenever we caressed you.
The times when we sat at the table to eat and you came, stealthily, to our feet, to grab a little piece of meat that we always let fall, on purpose.
And even the love bites that, sometimes, you did not hold back in “offering” us...
All these memories, and so many others more, will not fade from our memory, for you will always be among us.
But now you must continue the journey... Now you go to another dimension.
And the Spirits of the Lord, from now on in charge of your care, will be for you what we were during your 16 years of existence: dear caretakers, who will know how to offer you the love that you need to follow your destiny and be happy as the immortal being that you are.
Have the certainty that we will never forget you, but life needs to follow its course...
You now live on the other side of the stars, for death is only a passage, a transfer of address.
Whenever we remember you it will be with joy in the heart, for we know that our sadness and our despair for not having you among us reach you and can, therefore, hinder your evolutionary advancement.
And know that the light of That One who created everything will not be lacking to you. You will, from now on, be among dear friends, who will help you in your process of adaptation to this new home to which you were led.
We thank you for the joys that you provided us during all these years that we enjoyed by your side and we say to you, then, with sorrow in our hearts:
“Little dear brother, go forward... go peacefully... you will always be remembered.”
